GNL Mejillones (GNLM) is a joint venture between Chilean state copper giant Codelco and French-Belgian energy company Engie The company operates a 750 MUSD liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification terminal in Antofagasta region that supplies natural gas to the mining and energy sectors in Chile's northern zone.
Supervising Internal Control (“INCOME”) from scratch, Audit and Insurance activities of the regasification plant, including a 200MUSD onshore storage tank construction project. Working directly with administrative and technical managers in Head Office and in the Plant.
► Implemented and performed for first-time ENGIE audit programs locally, producing risk matrices, improving procedures. Ranked in top 10 internal control results of ENGIE's worldwide subsidiaries in 2015.
► Increased by 50% automatisation for Finance and Maintenance activities and decreased by 93% SAP access risks through Segregation of Duties project. Supervising ERC (SAP R/3) review to reduce manual controls and tasks.
► Supervising risks related to construction projects: tendering process, H&S rules, project costs.
